Auto-renewal & cancellation
All paid plans are billed monthly and renew automatically at the same rate until you cancel. You can cancel in a single click from your dashboard — no phone call, no email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.

Which currencies can I pay in?
USD, NGN, GHS, XOF, XAF and EGP. We add new currencies as we expand. Lawyers are paid out in their local currency.
Is ALECS a law firm?
No. ALECS is a legal-tech platform. Legal advice is provided only by licensed lawyers on our marketplace, who are bound by their bar's professional rules.
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each tenant has its own encryption key. AI conversations never train shared models. SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
Do you support SSO and SCIM?
Yes — SAML 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM 2.0 are available on the Enterprise plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing period. Annual plans receive a prorated refund minus payment processing fees.
